How do you achieve optimal adherence? IHA has found that you need a pharmacist facilitator, someone who watches and makes sure that first prescription is filled, someone who works with a patient to make sure they can get and want to get all their refills, and someone who can answer all a patients questions on disease, drug, and lifestyle modifications.  The only way to accomplish this is through live interactions with patients by specially trained pharmacists that are personal, meaningful, and consistent with their physician’s treatment plan.

IHA pharmacists are specially trained to listen to patients and hear their needs.  As licensed pharmacists, IHA staff are experts providing health lifestyle, medication, and disease interventions serving patients and their physicians.  These interventions engage, empower, educate, and encourage patients throughout their course of treatment.  Ultimately, this combination of interactions keeps patients adherent to their medications and improves their medical outcomes.
